Jolley’s Gym Students and Families,
This message is to inform the parents of our students the current plan Jolley’s Gym has for the events relating to COVID-19. While we are expert tumbling coaches, we do not claim expertise in this area and encourage everyone to monitor the situation as it progresses.
Firstly, we are still open and classes are still being held. Based on the most recent statement from Utah Governor Gary Herbert, our studio classes fall well under the suggested gathering size of no more than 100 healthy people. We will be monitoring any further changes by the state, local health boards, and community school districts. Should there be any changes we will communicate them to you via email and on our social media pages.
We are taking added precautions during this time to ensure the safety of our students and staff. This weekend we will be reviewing and emphasizing sanitary and hygiene protocols during our staff training. While our reserves last, we will be having everyone entering the studio use hand sanitizer. Private lesson sign ups will no longer be accessible in the studio. For now we ask that you sign up by texting the teacher directly; if you need their phone numbers contact the office. The March 28th evaluation and April observation days are postponed, but will be reevaluated as it gets closer. We would also ask parents to avoid entering the studio if possible. Questions should be directed via phone call, text, or email.
Please have your student wash their hands before and after tumbling. If your daughter is sick, or has had direct contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19, please keep them home until it is appropriate to have them start classes again. We encourage everyone to follow the CDC recommendations for families found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/protect/index.html. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Cover your cough or sneeze and clean/disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this unique experience. Your daughter’s safety is a top priority for us. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have.
